Profile
José Luis joined Pérez-Llorca in 2017 and is part of the Litigation and Arbitration team. José Luis’ professional practice focuses on advising on litigation and pre-litigious situations in civil and commercial matters before Spanish courts, as well as in domestic and international arbitration.

Experience
José Luis’ professional experience focuses on civil and commercial litigation before Spanish courts, as well as commercial arbitration before international and Spanish courts of arbitration (ICC, CIAM, CAM, CIMA among others).
He has experience in disputes of high complexity and value related to various sectors (engineering and construction, infrastructures, banking, gambling, real estate, among others).
José Luis has participated in litigation and arbitration proceedings related to contractual matters such as EPC projects, energy projects, infrastructures, M&A transactions, alternative lending, real estate, financial securities, among others. He has also advised on corporate matters and disputes between shareholders, including matters concerning directors’ liability, the challenge of corporate agreements and the enforcement of shareholder’s agreements. José Luis also advises on proceedings for the recognition, enforcement and annulment of arbitration awards.
