Profile
Luis Zurera joined Pérez-Llorca in 1988 and made partner in 1997. He has extensive knowledge and experience of real estate law.
Studies:
- 1987 Master’s degree in Corporate Law, IE Business School, Madrid
- 1986 Degree in Law, Universidad de Córdoba
He speaks Spanish, French and English.
Experience
Luis has extensive experience in providing legal advice on all areas of real estate law. His practice area has always been one of the fundamental pillars of Pérez-Llorca and is widely regarded as one of the strongest teams in Spain.
Luis’ specialisations, include: (i) the development of business and commercial parks along with the development of office complexes, hotels, shopping and leisure centres as well as residential blocks and complexes; (ii) the sale and purchase of land and real property; (iii) real estate investment and divestment transactions; (iv) sale and leaseback transactions; (v) leasing of premises within commercial centres and in office complexes; (vi) organisation of auction proceedings and tenders for the sale of real estate and advice regarding participation in such tenders and auctions; (vii) urban and environmental counsel on all types of real estate transactions.
Luis represents real estate developers, real estate investment funds, institutional investors, retail outlets and industrial and service companies.
Academic and Publishing Collaborations
Luis regularly gives seminars and participates in conferences related to his practice area. He has also written several articles for specialist legal and economic press.
