Pérez-Llorca has published a book entitled “Arbitration Code", a project coordinated by Felix J. Montero and Fernando Bedoya, Partner and Senior Associate of the Litigation and Arbitration Department of the Firm, and edited by Thomson Reuters Aranzadi.

The presentation, which was held on Thursday 30 November at Pérez-Llorca’s, headquarters boasted the participation of José Pedro Pérez-Llorca, Founding Partner of the firm and expert in the field, who underlined the importance of the book for the development of the practice of arbitration. Javier Moscoso del Prado Muñoz, Chair of Thomson Reuters Aranzadi’s Editorial Board also took part and highlighted the publishing house’s committment to academic law research.

This work includes comments on the Arbitration Act, the International Legal Cooperation Act and the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act, as well as on the rules of the main arbitral institutions. In this new work, which has arisen out of other previous codes published by Pérez-Llorca, greater emphasis has been given to the so-called soft law, of reference in both international and domestic arbitration. This book seeks to become a working tool for any professional or scholar of arbitral practice.

The coordination of this code was led by Felix J. Montero, partner of the Litigation and Arbitration Department, together with Fernando Bedoya, Senior Associate of the same area at Pérez-Llorca. Thomson Reuters Aranzadi, the leading company in technological solutions and intelligent information for businesses and professionals were the editors of this work.
