On 16 February, the first session of 'Pérez-Llorca/Labour Law Updates 2016' will be held.

As in previous sessions, Daniel Cifuentes and Fernando Ruiz (Partners of the Labour department) will give an overview of the most recent and relevant judicial decisions of the Court of Justice of the European Union, the Supreme Court, the National Court and the High Court of Madrid.
After this review, there will be a discussion on the effects of the recent Circular 1/2016 of the Chief Prosecutor, of 22 January, on the criminal liability regime for companies in employment relationships, and, more specifically, on the new obligation to adopt internal codes of conduct that clearly establish the obligations and prohibitions applicable to employees and management.
The debate will be led by Adriana de Buerba (Partner in charge of the White Collar Crime department) and Luis Enrique Fernández-Pallares (Partner in charge of the Labour department).
The session will take place from 9:15am to 10:30am in the Auditorium of our Madrid headquarters, on Paseo de la Castellana, 50.
