Pérez-Llorca hosted the launch of the second edition of the book ‘Lecciones Fundamentales de Derecho Administrativo’, published by Thomson Reuters Aranzadi, which provides a comprehensive and detailed study of Administrative Law.
The ceremony, chaired by the President of the Constitutional Court, Juan José González Rivas, and the Minister of Territorial Policy and Civil Service, Meritxel Batet, was opened by José Ramón de Hoces, Partner of Public Law at Pérez-Llorca and one of the coordinators of the work.
José Miguel Bueno, Technical Secretary of the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Civil Service, State Advocate and general coordinator of the book, introduced the speakers who presented the work. Pablo García Manzano, Emeritus Judge of the Constitutional Court and Retired Judge of the Supreme Court, specialist in contentious-administrative matters and author of the foreword of the book; Inés María Huerta Garciano, Judge of the Administrative Chamber of the Supreme Court; Consuelo Castro, State Advocate General; and Javier Moscoso del Prado, President of the Editorial Board at Thomson Reuters Aranzadi, gave a few words to highlight the importance of this compilation, as well as its usefulness.
This second edition of the work includes an exhaustive and thoroughly structured review of Administrative Law, complemented by a summary of case law from the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union. The purpose of the book is to be a reference guide for Administrative Law and a tool both for training and for everyday work in this area.
