Ana will be working in the Energy practice alongside Marina Serrano and José Ramón de Hoces

Pérez-Llorca has hired Ana Cremades, State Advocate on leave of absence, as Counsel in the Public, Administrative and Regulatory Law practice.

Cremades holds a degree in law from Universidad Pontificia Comillas-ICADE and a diploma in business law management from the same university. She has more than 10 years of professional experience in the area of public law.

She was admitted to the State Advocate’s Office in 2006, having achieved the highest grade of all the candidates in the examinations, and was also awarded the Cross of the Order of St. Raymond of Peñafort that year. Since then, she has held positions of responsibility in several government agencies. Highlights include her role as State Advocate before the National High Court, Coordinator of the Energy and Telecommunications Area, and Head State Advocate at the Secretariat of State for Energy. In addition, her professional achievements notably include coordinating many Mutual Legal Assistance Agreements between the State Advocate’s Office and various government agencies, in particular the now defunct Spanish Energy Commission, the Spanish Commission on Markets and Competition (Energy area), the Nuclear Safety Council and the Institute for Diversification and Saving of Energy.

Cremades has also contributed to numerous academic publications in the field of Public Law. These include Ministry of Justice publications such as the ‘Manual de Responsabilidad Pública’, the ‘Manual sobre Responsabilidad Disciplinaria del Personal al Servicio de las Administraciones Públicas’, and ‘Casos Prácticos de la oposición para el ingreso en el Cuerpo de Abogados del Estado.’

According to José Ramón de Hoces, Partner of Public Law, Litigation, and Head of the Public Law practice, the hiring of Ana Cremades is “a very valuable addition to our Public, Administrative and Regulatory Law team, and particularly the Energy practice, given her considerable knowledge of this subject. It is a reflection of the growth of the firm in this practice area over the last few years.”
