Pérez-Llorca has named Marcel Enrich as a new partner of the firm’s Corporate practice area in Barcelona.
Marcel joins Pérez-Llorca to strengthen the Corporate practice that the firm has developed in this city with other renowned partners. He has more than 20 years of experience in the sector, and was previously a Corporate Finance partner at the Barcelona office of an international law firm. Marcel has worked on mergers and acquisitions, as well as private equity and financing transactions, for both Spanish and international companies and entities.
He holds a degree in Law from the University of Barcelona and an LL.M. from Fordham University in New York, and has been listed in some of the major international directories including Chambers Europe, for ‘Corporate/Commercial’ in Barcelona, Legal 500 EMEA and Best Lawyers ®, for the practice of ‘Banking and Finance Law’, ‘Corporate and M&A Law’ and ‘Private Equity Law’ in Barcelona.
Marcel joins the Corporate team at Pérez-Llorca’s Barcelona office, alongside Gerard Serra, Sergio Agüera, José María de Paz and Jordi Farrés.
Marcel’s appointment coincides with the publication of the Chambers & Partners rankings, in which the firm has been listed in ‘Band 1’, the highest band, for Corporate/M&A. These rankings already list the firm in Band 1 for Dispute Resolution and Public Law. In this way, Pérez-Llorca has positioned three of its main strategic areas in the top band of the rankings of this prestigious international directory.
