Jordi Gras joined Pérez-Llorca in 2020. Prior to this, he worked at an international firm as a partner in the Litigation and Restructuring practice area.

Experience

With more than 20 years of professional experience, Jordi specialises in civil and commercial legal proceedings. Over his career, he has advised and represented major clients on arbitral and legal proceedings (financial products, contractual disputes, real estate, corporate litigation, debt claims, insolvency and unfair competition, among other matters).

He has been appointed as receiver (insolvency administrator) in the most relevant insolvency proceedings handled in Barcelona by the Barcelona Commercial Courts.

He has been selected by the Barcelona Arbitration Court (TAB) and the TAB’s Registry of Arbiters and has been appointed as Arbiter by TAB.

Academic and Publishing Collaborations

Jordi teaches for the Postgraduate Course in Legal Practice at the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB) and has taught for the Master’s degree in Bankruptcy Law at the same institution.

He is professor of the Master’s Degree in Law at the UPF-Barcelona School of Management.

He also taught for the Master’s degree in International Law at ISDE and has been a lecturer at ICAB, the Association of Economists of Catalonia and Foment del Treball, as well as other institutions.

Author of several articles in procedural, commercial and insolvency matters and of some collective works in the mentioned subjects.

He was vice-chair and chair of the ICAB’s Insolvency Law Section.
