Sustainability: New proposal from the European Comission for a Directive on corporate due diligence

On 23 February 2022, the European Commission published its proposal for a Directive on corporate due diligence regarding sustainability and human rights, which essentially establishes a duty of due diligence for companies to promote sustainable and responsible business practices across global supply chains.
