Profile
Gonçalo joined Pérez-Llorca in 2023 as a partner to contribute to the international development of the firm and to foster relationships with clients and institutions outside Spain, specifically in the Portuguese-speaking markets, with a special focus on Portugal and Brazil. He is part of the firm’s LatAm Desk.
Studies:

- 1999 Bachelor of Laws by University of Lisbon School of Law, Lisbon, Portugal.
He is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
Experience
Gonçalo has more than 20 years of experience in the Brazilian, Portuguese, UK and US markets and is specialised in mergers and acquisitions in various sectors, particularly energy and infrastructure and private equity. His clients include multinational companies, US firms, funds and investment banks, among others. Until now he was a partner at a well-known Brazilian firm and previously worked in the London and New York offices of a major US law firm.
Godinho will combine his work on Pérez-Llorca’s international development project with advising clients on commercial matters in the energy and infrastructure sectors, areas in which he has excelled in recent years, having been involved in some of the most significant transactions in these sectors in Brazil.
