This will be the second Chair event in the United States, following the session held in New York last year in collaboration with Chadbourne & Parke.
The upcoming Chair will take place in Miami, and the discussion will centre on international arbitration in M&A transactions with a focus on Cuba, Spain and the United States. Speakers at the event will include: Felix J. Montero, Litigation and Arbitration Partner at Pérez-Llorca; Marco de Benito, a lecturer at IE Law School; Luis A. Pérez, Partner and Co-Chair of the Latin America & the Caribbean Practice at Akerman; Ivan Delgado, Resident Partner at Pérez-Llorca’s New York office and Pedro Freyre, Partner and Chair of the International Practice at Akerman.
The session will be held on 18 April from 08:00 am to 10:45 am at Akerman’s Miami office, located at Brickell City Center, 98 Southeast Seventh Street, Suite 1100.
