Pérez-Llorca is strengthening its infrastructure and telecommunications practice with the addition of José María Miralles as a partner. He will join the firm at the beginning of November.
José María Miralles has spent a large part of his professional career at Cellnex, where he was, until July 2023, Global General Counsel, member of its Executive Committee, responsible for legal, regulatory and competition matters, compliance, data protection and intellectual property. Prior to this, he was part of the Abertis Telecom team, and also spent time at Retevisión and AUNA Operadores de Telecomunicaciones.
José María Miralles is one of the most renowned lawyers in the telecommunications infrastructure sector in Europe. His addition to Pérez-Llorca significantly strengthens this practice and adds his experience to that of other experts in the firm at a time when this sector is becoming increasingly strategic in global economic development.
He holds a degree in Law from the Universitat de Barcelona, a Master’s degree in Business Law from the Universidad San Pablo CEU, as well as other degrees from ESADE (in Corporate Law), the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Urban Planning and Public Law) and the Universitat de Barcelona (Competition Law).
José María Miralles will join the Barcelona office’s Corporate team.
