Melchor Álvarez de Mon joined Pérez-Llorca in 2023 after working in the London office of a renowned international firm for four years, participating in M&A and capital markets transactions in different European jurisdictions. Prior to this, he worked in the Madrid office of a prestigious international firm, as part of its Corporate/M&A practice.

Experience

Melchor specialises in advising domestic and international clients on mergers and acquisitions of listed and unlisted companies, transfers of assets and business units, as well as corporate law and corporate governance matters.

Throughout his career, Melchor has advised financial investors, different types of investment funds and industrial investors on their investments and divestments, mergers, company and asset acquisitions, strategic alliances and corporate reorganisations, especially in the framework of cross-border transactions of particular complexity in different sectors, including energy, infrastructure, telecommunications, banking, FMCG, real estate, logistics, hospitality and leisure.

Melchor has also been involved in equity listing transactions, dual-track processes and capital markets transactions, including advising on corporate bond issues and high yield bond issues.
