Gonçalo joined Pérez-Llorca as a lawyer in 2023 in the context of the international expansion of the firm, and is part of the Banking, Energy & Infrastructures practice area in Lisbon, Portugal.

Before joining Pérez-Llorca worked as a lawyer on a Portuguese law firm part of an international network, where he also completed his internship for admission to the Portuguese Bar Association.

Gonçalo also worked as a summer trainee at other Portuguese law firm part of an international network in 2018 and went on an exchange program in Mexico City in 2019.

His professional activity is mainly focused on banking and finance transactions, in particular acquisition finance and real estate finance, also having experience on infrastructure, energy and M&A.

Gonçalo has advised clients both in national and cross-border transactions, having acted in particular for commercial banks, investment banks and companies.
