Gonzalez Calvillo, September 22, 2023.- The Second Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (“SCJN”), published two draft sentences for amparo review appeals, through which two different ministers (Alberto Pérez Dayán and Javier Laynez Potisek)propose to declare the unconstitutionality of certain portions of the reforms to theElectrical Industry Law (“LIE”), published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on March 9, 2021 (“Decree”).
The projects are scheduled to be discussed by the SCJN on September 27, 2023.
