The International Legal Alliance Summit & Awards name Pérez-Llorca a “Distinguished Spanish Law Firm 2012, Silver Award”. The award recognises the best law firms from 40 countries, from among 300 participating firms. This recognition consolidates Pérez-Llorca’s status as one of the main independent Spanish law firms, at international level.
In 2009, Pérez-Llorca received the Gold Award, being the winner of the “Special Distinction of the Jury 2009”. Pérez-Llorca was among the distinguished law firms in 2011, 2010 and 2008.
The ceremony was held in the Intercontinental Hotel in Paris on 14 June and was attended by over 600 senior executives of independent firms, law firms and General Counsels from more than 40 countries.
Various jury panels formed by company lawyers and managers of large corporations from the Fortune 500 such as Bayer, Coca Cola, General Electric, IBM and Procter & Gamble, among others, assisted the event.
Pérez-Llorca was one of the nominees along with other important Spanish law firms such as Araoz & Rueda and Garrigues. Adriana de Buerba, Partner of the White Collar Crime practice, and Constanza Vergara, Partner and Corporate Director, accepted the award on behalf of the firm.
