Alberto is counsel and has more than 16 years of experience in M&A, Corporate Finance, and Private Equity and Fund Formation. His practice is focused on advising national and international clients, including banks and companies (both private and public) regarding all kind of transactions such as bank loans, company acquisitions, private equity investments and other related matters, as well as the preparation and negotiation of the respective contracts.

Experience

Alberto has extensive experience providing legal and business advice to multinational and Mexican companies in all kinds of domestic and cross-border transactions.

Among his most relevant matters in the firm are his representation of Gentera in the acquisition of 36.8% of Concrédito, comprised of an investment of more than MXN $2.5 billion and its conversion as well as an additional share acquisition, in order for Gentera to reach a 51%. Alberto also represented Bain Capital in their MXN $1.1 billion senior facility agreement for the acquisition of the Atento Group from Telefonica; he also advised Bancomext in a USD $53 million senior secured and VAT financing for the development of hotel project in Mexico.

His international experience includes working as foreign associate at Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York between 2013 and 2014.
