Alonzo joined the firm as an associate in the Labor, Employment and Corporate Compensation practice area. He has more than five years of experience, providing advice to the hotel, pharmaceutical, automotive and restaurant industries, among others, in order to mitigate contingencies.

Experience

His practice is focused on the drafting of contracts, policies, termination of personnel, compensation schemes, consulting related to operations in labor matters, updating in Mexican legal framework, labor process for the purchase and sale of companies, among others. Alonzo has served as deputy director of legal consulting at the Undersecretary of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Economy, where he oversaw the implementation of several international treaties such as the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership, the United States Mexico, and Canada Agreement, as well as the negotiation of several international instruments and treaties with strategic commercial partners for Mexico.

Prior to joining the firm, Alonzo worked as an associate in the labor consulting area of another firm, assisting and advising several companies in mergers and acquisitions, social security, and union matters, and in specialized services contracting processes through the REPSE system.
