Bernardo is financial lawyer with over 19 years of experience in both private and public offerings of securities in Mexico and abroad, advising issuers, investors, underwriters, holders (including Retirement Fund Managers – AFORES), intermediaries, rating agencies and consulting firms, including in the offering of corporate bonds, government securities offerings, development capital certificates (CKDs), Real Estate Investment Trusts (FIBRAs), Energy and Infrastructure Investment Trusts (FIBRAs E), securitizations of various types of assets (such as automotive, mortgage and payroll loans, equipment and machinery leases, and infrastructure projects and others), and ESG bonds. He also has experience on complex domestic and cross-border transactions mostly related to financing and structured finance, as well as in joint ventures, strategic alliances, corporate restructurings, and mergers and acquisitions of highly regulated sectors and industries.

His experience also includes representing and advising financial entities, such as private and public banking institutions, and other companies on financial regulatory matters in Mexico. Prior to joining, he was a member of the legal teams at Value Grupo Financiero and Banco INVEX.
