Having spearheaded over 40 assessments within the Mexican energy sector, she possesses unparalleled expertise in advising companies on obtaining prior, free, and informed consent. Her contributions extend beyond the private sector, as she has served as an esteemed expert in administrative and constitutional law for the Agency for Security, Energy and Environment (ASEA). In this capacity, she has played a pivotal role in identifying and implementing international best practices in industrial safety, operational protocols, environmental protection, and insurance within the hydrocarbons sector. With more than 15 years of experience spanning various branches of the Federal Public Administration and both Houses of the Mexican Federal Congress, Julia brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice. Her expertise in the study, design, and drafting of legal provisions across all regulatory levels, coupled with her proficiency in regulatory improvement procedures, solidifies her reputation as a distinguished specialist.
