ESG Financing

ESG principles are fundamental in corporate and project financing. We offer advisory services in the implementation of these principles in financing structures, complying with applicable requirements.

Our team is expert in:

  • Bank or commercial financing labeled under ESG standards.
  • Issuance of ESG-labeled bonds in stock markets in Mexico and abroad, including thematic bonds (green, blue, social/gender, and sustainable) and linked bonds (sustainability-linked bonds or SLBs).
  • Advisory on the structuring of ESG transition bonds.
  • Support in the review of ESG frameworks under the standards of the International Capital Markets Association (ICMA).
  • Assistance and representation of ESG-labeled bond issuers in obtaining Second Opinion (SPO) as well as in external review processes for linked bonds.
  • Authorization process for the disclosure of documents to carry out the public offering of labeled bonds before the National Banking and Securities Commission, as well as the corresponding favorable opinions for listing these bonds on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV) and the Institutional Stock Exchange (BIVA).
