Pro Bono Highlights
Mexican Business Council It is a civil association committed to promoting the social well-being and economic development of the country. We have provided them with support in the preparation of their Covid-19 Guide, which established the recommendations and restrictions in force at that time.
We provided advice to Coralisma, A.C., a non-profit organization striving to rebuild coral reefs in the Riviera Maya, Mexico, focused on coral restoration, education and conservation, to obtain authorization to receive tax-deductible donations. taxes both in Mexico and abroad.
Northern Border Community Foundation – Established as part of a strategic initiative to enhance community foundations along the US-Mexico border. The foundation collects contributions in Ciudad Juárez and the border area from individuals, families and businesses to support community-driven initiatives. Gonzalez Calvillo has continuously advised this association on corporate matters.
Dr. José Ignacio Rivero Cosme Foundation, A.C., is a non-governmental organization (NGO) focused on contributing to the reduction of mortality in cancer patients, raising awareness about early detection and providing specialized care.
We have provided specialized attention – in its incorporation, determination of its corporate purpose, obtaining its “e.signature” and authorization to receive tax-deductible donations.
Quinta Carmelita Foundation, IAP It is a children’s home with 30 years of experience committed to children’s rights. Provides comprehensive care to children in abandoned situations. We have provided legal support in various corporate matters to ensure that they can continue to apply for and receive subsidies both in Mexico and abroad.
Futeje It is a private, non-profit care institution focused on the comprehensive support of patients with colorectal and gastric cancer. We provide them with support in legal matters, which include reviewing the legislation applicable to Private Assistance Institutions and, if necessary, updating their internal documents to comply with these regulations and continue operating. We have also supported them in intellectual property matters related to the registration of their logo.
Rainforest Alliance Mexico – Alianza para Bosques, A.C.It is a Mexican civil association established in 2005. We participate in the review of contracts for various projects, providing advice on matters related to the Specific Mechanism financed by the World Bank, which is a special initiative of the Forest Investment Program (FIP). The program supports the efforts of developing countries to address the underlying causes of deforestation and forest degradation, and overcome obstacles that have obstructed past efforts by facilitating the full and effective participation of Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities in the design and implementation of the FIP Investment Plans and, in turn, contributes to the National REDD+ Strategy (ENAREDD+).
Sonrisas Monterrey It is a civil association that seeks to provide access to free mental health services to young people. We have advised them on various legal matters, including reviewing their legal structure, drafting contracts and authorizing authorized donors.
