Profile
Alejandro Osma Jiménez joined Pérez-Llorca in 2002 and made partner in 2013. He has extensive experience advising on corporate, real estate, energy and infrastructure projects transactions. Alejandro is also a member of the Firm’s Pro Bono Committee.
In 2006 Alejandro went on secondment to Dewey Ballantine, LLP in New York, where he joined the Project Finance and Leasing team and worked on various international acquisition and project finance transactions.
In 2010 he worked as an international associate in the New York office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, where he worked with the capital markets team and participated in a number of transactions with listed companies of great significance in Latin America. One of them was the IPO process of OHL México, one of the main transportation infrastructure concession operators in the private sector in Mexico.

Experience
Alejandro has extensive experience in advising domestic and international clients on all types of transactions related to the real estate market, the energy sector, and the development, execution and acquisition of energy and infrastructure projects, as well as commercial transactions related to companies from the real estate and energy sectors, including joint venture transactions, private equity and mergers and acquisitions. He also teaches for the Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession at UC3M-ISDE.
His main clients are national and international investors, property investment funds, banks, insurance companies, national and international developers, final operators and industrial and service companies.
Academic and Publishing Collaborations
Alejandro has experience in the academic field and has participated as a speaker on specialised courses and seminars organised by Instituto de Empresa such as the Advanced Real Estate & Hospitality Programme, at IFAES (International Forum for Executives), as well as for several years of the Master’s degree in International Law at Centro Universitario Villanueva (Madrid) and the Master’s degree in Land Planning and Territorial Policy at Instituto Universitario Pascual Madoz at Universidad Carlos III in Madrid. He also teaches for the Master’s Degree for Access to the Legal Profession at UC3M-ISDE.
Furthermore, he regularly writes articles for economic and legal press and the Firm’s International Newsletter.
