Andrea joined Pérez-Llorca in 2018. She previously worked in the New Technology and Privacy practice area at a Big Four firm and at a prestigious international firm.

Experience
Andrea specialises in intellectual property and technology and advises companies in various sectors, with a particular focus on technology and digital business.
Andrea focuses her practice on all aspects of European data protection law, compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), information technology, cybersecurity and e-commerce. She has a pre-eminent knowledge of data use with a strategic vision within the technology sector and in-depth experience in purely regulatory matters. She also has extensive experience advising clients located inside and outside the European Economic Area on the management of their international data transfers. Andrea bases her advice to clients on their data protection compliance strategies in Spain and the rest of the world using a theoretical approach based on knowledge of national regulations and the guidelines of the different Supervisory Authorities and a practical approach, assessing the risk inherent in the processing activities pursued. She also has extensive experience in representing financial institutions, restaurant companies, software developers, M&A transactions and companies in the healthcare sector. She regularly assists her clients in different sanctioning procedures before the Spanish Data Protection Agency, as well as in the preparation and response to cybersecurity incidents.

Andrea teaches at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, in the Expert Degree in Data Protection in the Digital Society and has published academic papers in various publications, such as:
