Gonzalo Fernández-Bravo joined Pérez-Llorca in January 2019. Previously, he worked in the Litigation departments of several leading Spanish law firms.

Experience
Gonzalo is currently a member of the Public Law and Litigation practice area. He specialises in advising on public law and European Union law, as well as contentious-administrative, civil and commercial litigation.
EU and Public Law
Gonzalo advises domestic and international clients on all types of matters related to public and European Union law in a wide range of regulated sectors, including the financial, aeronautical, energy, transport and construction sectors.
In the field of public law, his activity is focused on advising on regulatory matters, as well as on all types of administrative and sanctioning procedures.
In the field of European Union law, his activity is focused on advising domestic and international clients on all types of European proceedings, having participated in numerous cases of great relevance and impact before the Court of Justice of the European Union.
Contentious-administrative, civil and commercial litigation
Francisco has also advised domestic and international clients on all types of litigation, both in contentious-administrative and civil and commercial law matters.
In particular, in proceedings for damages arising from breaches of competition law, in banking and consumer proceedings for breaches of consumer rights protection regulations, in contentious-administrative proceedings for breaches of aviation regulations, as well as in major civil and contentious-administrative proceedings in other areas.
In this field, Gonzalo has extensive experience in the oral defence of clients’ interests before the Spanish courts and before the Court of Justice of the European Union.
Academic and Publishing Collaborations
Gonzalo has taught Corporate and Insolvency Practice on the Master’s Degree for Access to the Legal Profession course at the Universidad Internacional de La Rioja and he regularly lectures on Contentious-Administrative Jurisdictional Practice for the Master’s Degree for Access to the Legal Profession at the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha.
Gonzalo has also published numerous academic articles on various subjects related to the areas of activity described above in some of the main digital legal journals (Diario La Ley, La Ley Arbitraje y Mediación and Actualidad Jurídica Aranzadi, among others).
