Profile
Iván joined Pérez-Llorca as a partner in 2024 to contribute to the expansion and growth of this practice at the firm. He has almost 25 years of practice in senior positions, both in government agencies and in other law firms.
Studies:
- 2006 Diploma of Advanced Studies in Business Law (Doctoral Programme)
- 1996 Degree in Law, Universidad Complutense de Madrid
He speaks Spanish and English.
Experience
Iván was a State Advocate and Inspector of the Services of the General State Administration on leave of absence.
He has extensive experience in all areas of employment relationships, with a particular focus on the execution of complex litigation, collective bargaining and restructuring processes, including insolvency proceedings, in sectors as diverse as the public sector in general, finance, technology, health, education, science and aviation, media, ports and road transport, among others.
Academic and publishing collaborations
Gayarre has a strong academic background and is the author of several publications.
In addition to teaching Employment and Social Security Law as an associate professor, Iván is the co-director of the Fide Foundation’s Corporate Social Responsibility and the Law Forum. He is a regular speaker on training programmes from the private and public sectors and is the author of various publications on the subject.
