José Luis joined Pérez-Llorca in September 2018. In 2023 and 2024 he worked at the firm’s New York office. Before joining the firm, José Luis worked in the Regulatory and Corporate practice of two different international law firms.

Experience

Jose Luis advises both domestic and foreign clients on all types of commercial and real estate transactions and, in particular, on major M&A transactions, the creation and dissolution of joint ventures, securities market transactions (takeover bids, public offers for the sale and/or subscription of listed shares, issuance of securities, shareholders’ agreements, among others), corporate restructurings and private equity transactions.

Jose Luis also advises investment and management companies on compliance with their regulatory obligations in Spain, registration of funds with the Spanish National Securities and Exchange Commission (CNMV), as well as on the creation, compliance and marketing of products, entities and activities subject to supervision by the Bank of Spain and the CNMV.
