Profile
José María joined Pérez-Llorca in 2023 as a partner to strengthen the Corporate/M&A, Infrastructure and Telecommunications practice and add his experience to that of the firm’s other experts, at a time when the sector is becoming increasingly strategic in global economic development.

Experience
With over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, José María Miralles has spent a large part of his career working as the Global General Counsel of Cellnex, a company listed on the IBEX 35, contributing to the creation and development of the European leader in the telecommunications infrastructures market operating both in Spain and in other European jurisdictions (Italy, France, Portugal, UK, Holland, Switzerland, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Austria and Ireland, among others).
In addition, he was a member of its Executive Committee, responsible for legal, regulatory and competition, data protection and intellectual property matters, as well as compliance, and Chairman of the Ethics and Compliance Committee.
José María has also been a director and board member of various companies in the telecommunications sector, both nationally and internationally.
Prior to this, José María was part of the Abertis Telecom team, and also spent time at Retevisión and Auna Operadores de Telecomunicaciones.
