Lucas joined Pérez-Llorca in 2025 as a Litigation and Arbitration lawyer in the Lisbon office. He advises national and foreign corporate clients on litigation and pre-litigation matters, focusing on the most critical disputes for their businesses.

Experience

Before joining Pérez-Llorca, Lucas was a litigation and arbitration lawyer at national and foreign law firms in Lisbon. He also worked for the Portuguese government as an advisor to the Secretary of State for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

As a lawyer, he has represented clients in various areas, such as banking, insurance, property and construction, namely in contractual and commercial disputes, corporate and shareholder disputes and construction disputes. Lucas has also advised companies on insolvency and restructuring processes.

In addition, Lucas has represented clients in administrative offence proceedings before the Portuguese courts and public authorities, including in the area of competition.
