Marcos Mata joined Pérez-Llorca in 2021, having previously completed work experience at the firm as part of the Master’s degree for Access to the Legal Profession.
He gained experience in the firm’s Corporate/M&A and Banking and Finance practice areas. Likewise, prior to this, Marcos completed work experience in the Litigation and Arbitration and Corporate/M&A departments of three prestigious international firms.
In 2023 he worked in the firm’s Singapore office.

Experience
Marcos works in Pérez-Llorca’s Corporate practice area. His practice focuses on corporate and commercial advice on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, private equity and corporate governance, both with domestic and international clients. He is also regularly involved in private equity transactions and advises clients on a wide variety of aspects of corporate, commercial and general contractual law.
Academic and publishing collaborations
Marcos has contributed to articles on current affairs, including the article “Abuso de derecho en la separación del socio por falta de distribución de dividendos”, in the newspaper Cinco Días.
Marcos has also lectured for the Specialisation in Corporate Governance and M&A Transactions at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
