María joined Pérez-Llorca in September 2023. She has previous experience in the areas of administrative and urban planning and employment law in two national law firms.

Experience
María is a member of Pérez-Llorca’s Land Planning and Environment practice area, advising on the following matters, among others:
- Legal reviews (due diligence) of land planning matters and preparing legal reports analysing the land planning situation of land and real estate assets (e.g. applicable planning instruments, applicable urban planning parameters, status of permits/licences, etc.) and the feasibility of carrying out actions on all types of land and assets for the execution of real estate transactions of various kinds.
- Drafting, reviewing and monitoring the processing of different urban planning, management and execution instruments in different municipalities throughout the country (e.g. partial plans, urban development agreements, detail studies, re-plotting projects, complementary legal transactions, etc.).
- Advising and supporting on administrative sanctioning procedures and procedures for the restoration of land planning legality, through submitting claims, administrative appeals and contentious-administrative appeals.
- Coordinating, advising and continued management of collective urban entities, such as Compensation Committees and/or Urban Conservation Entities in different areas of the country, with special emphasis on Madrid and the Henares corridor (e.g. attendance at general assemblies and meetings of the governing bodies, drafting minutes, preparing certificates for the adopted agreements adopted, etc.).
- Analysing the viability of projects on developable land with the aim of converting them into final land and the implications of sectorial regulations with an impact on the development of land or the implementation of different real estate projects.
- Supporting and advising on the procedure for obtaining administrative authorisations for the implementation and development of residential, logistics and tourism/hotel projects (i.e. environmental, land planning and administrative authorisations and licences).
