María Sánchez joined Pérez-Llorca in 2015 to complete her internship for the Master’s Degree for Access to the Legal Profession, joining the firm as a lawyer at the end of her studies.
After completing her seats in the Litigation and Land Planning practice areas, María joined the Administrative Law and Regulated Sectors team, where she has worked and specialised since 2016.

Experience
Since joining Pérez-Llorca, María’s experience has focused on advising domestic and international companies operating in regulated sectors that are subject to special control or public supervision, both from the point of view of public and private law.
She has extensive experience in providing advice in areas such as infrastructure (especially in relation to concessional assets), natural resources (especially the water sector), telecommunications and transport. She also provides this advice both in a pre-litigation context and in a transactional context, advising on mergers and acquisitions of companies with regulated assets or which are involved in or subject to public procurement procedures.
As a specialist in administrative law, María has advised on subsidies and public aid in complex and diverse areas, including administrative and contentious-administrative proceedings (in the context of reimbursement resolutions and sanctioning procedures) and in the context of acquisition processes of companies with major R&D activity.
María also has extensive experience in advising third-sector organisations, especially foundations, at both national and regional level. María’s specialisation in this field is supplemented by the Diploma of High Specialisation in Foundations and Non-Profit Entities Law, which is offered by the Universidad Complutense’s School of Legal Practice in collaboration with the Asociación Española de Fundaciones. This experience has allowed her to advise major clients in the third sector, but also to collaborate actively on the firm’s pro-bono projects.
