Miriam joined Pérez-Llorca in September 2023, coming from a multidisciplinary Spanish law firm where she had previously completed the internship for her postgraduate studies. Prior to this, she completed the internship for the Master’s degree for Access to the Legal Profession at a prestigious law firm specialising in criminal law.
Studies:
She speaks Spanish and English.
Experience
Currently, Miriam works in the White Collar Crime and Investigations practice, advising domestic and international clients on economic and corporate crime, an area to which she has dedicated herself since completing her internship for the Master’s degree for Access to the Legal Profession.
She also provides advice on litigation and crime prevention programmes (criminal compliance), and participates in internal investigations to detect wrongdoing.
She is a regular contributor to the firm’s pro bono programmes and attends courses, seminars and other criminal law forums to keep her expertise up to date.
Academic and publishing collaborations
Miriam was a mentor in the third edition of the IE Law School Mentoring Program.
