Sara joined Pérez-Llorca as associate in 2024. Prior to this, she was an associate in the Banking and Finance department of a Tier 1 Portuguese law firm. Sara has also worked in the Finance and Governance department of a recognised Portuguese law firm. She has experience in banking law, capital markets and insurance matters, and holds degrees in law and corporate finance.

Experience
Sara practices in the areas of banking law, capital markets, and insurance, providing assistance to clients in matters related to the supervision of banks, credit institutions, investment firms, payment institutions, investment funds and pension fund management companies, securitisation companies, insurance and reinsurance companies, corporate governance, authorisation and registration procedures with the regulators for new entities, and fit and proper assessments, credit intermediation, insurance and reinsurance distribution, risk management and compliance.
Sara also has experience in securitisation transactions and debt issuance.
