Profile
Tobías Kálnay joined Pérez-Llorca in 2020. Prior to this, Tobías worked for three years as a lawyer in the corporate law practice area of a Spanish firm, forming part of the firm’s German Desk. Previously, he spent two years working in the same department at another Spanish firm.

He speaks Spanish, English and German.
Experience
Tobías specialises in corporate and commercial law, with a particular focus on M&A, private equity, corporate restructuring and joint ventures.
He has extensive experience in advising on corporate mergers and acquisitions, and has been involved in various transactions, both nationally and internationally. He advises both private equity funds and large national and international industrial companies on transnational transactions in sectors such as energy, retail and services, logistics and distribution, security, software and food.
Tobias is also involved in matters relating to corporate law, corporate governance of listed and unlisted companies, warrant agreements both within and outside the context of venture debt transactions and all types of commercial contracts.
Academic and publishing collaborations
Tobías regularly lectures for the Specialisation in Corporate Governance and M&A Transactions at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
Tobías also lectures for the “High Specialisation Diploma in the Legal Regime of Family Businesses” at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid’s Escuela de Práctica Jurídica
