As of today, Mexico is widely recognised as one of the world’s arbitration hubs in Latin America. This is mainly explained by the fact that Mexico is the second-largest economy in Latin America, and among the fourteen largest economies in the world. Its position as global exporter spans across all key industries and is a game-changer in facilitating global manufacturing to achieve today’s energy transition. This includes mining, vehicles, computers, oils and petroleum, connecting it with the main economies across the globe.
Mexico has been recognised by the ICC as the most represented nationality in commercial arbitration in Latin America, and the second most represented nationality in commercial arbitration worldwide.
