The interim dividend and its practical application in unlisted companies

Limited companies are increasingly using interim dividends as an additional form of remuneration for their shareholders. The interim dividend is, in short, an advance paid by the company to the shareholders out of the profits obtained by the company, prior to the approval of the annual accounts.
