Regulation EU 1215/2012 has been in force since 10 January 2015 and is the most important EU law for international jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters. This regulation is highly important for judges that must resolve cross border litigations, researchers, lawyers, and litigators that wish to reduce the cost of international litigation or, simply, settle disputes out of court. The book was written with the input of lawyers from the academic world, practising lawyers, State Advocates, public prosecutors and judges on leave of absence.
