Seminar on ‘Fiscal challenges in the financial sector’

Pérez-Llorca will hold a seminar on 19 September which will discuss fiscal challenges in the financial sector.

The event will be introduced by Javier Hurtado, Director of Tax Inspections at AEAT, who will then hand the floor to the participants of the first discussion panel. Juan de Villota, from CECA; Manel García, from Caixabank; Carmen Alonso, from Banco Santander and Fernando Hornillos, Chief Inspector of the Financial Sector of the DCGC at the AEAT, will discuss the new levies on financial institutions. Javier Tello, Counsel of Pérez-Llorca’s Tax department, will moderate this discussion.
José María Vallejo, from BBVA, will then take the floor, followed by Juan José Lagares, from Bankia; Carlos Lázaro, from Banco Sabadell and Carmen González, from AEB, who will discuss the fiscal challenges and opportunities for financial institutions. Clara Jiménez, Partner of Pérez-Llorca’s Tax department, will coordinate this debate.
The seminar will be brought to a close by Jesús Gascón, Director General of the AEAT.
The event will be held on Wednesday 19 September from 4.30pm to 7.30pm in the Auditorium of Pérez-Llorca’s Madrid headquarters, located at Paseo de la Castellana, 50.
