The purpose of the Preliminary Draft is to advance with the process of transposition in Spain of Directive (EU) 2020/1828 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2020 on representative actions for the protection of the collective interests of consumers (the “Directive”), whose deadline for transposition into the internal legislation of the different Member States of the European Union expired on 25 December 2022.
