Brussels Insights

We are pleased to present the March edition of Pérez-Llorca's Brussels Insights, in which we periodically analyse current issues in European Union law from the "Brussels perspective".

March has been a particularly busy month in terms of legislation. In particular, in this edition we have focused on:

1. The European Commission’s Communication of 9 March 2023 – Temporary Crisis and Transition Framework for State aid measures to support the economy following the aggression against Ukraine by Russia.
2. Five legislative proposals linked to the European Green Deal and the energy crisis.
3. The judgment of the Court of Justice of the EU of 21 March 2023, Mercedes-Benz Group, C-100/21, concerning “Dieselgate”.
4. Case C-738/22 P, Google and Alphabet v Commission.
