Alejandro Alberte has extensive experience in advising on corporate transactions (LBOs, MBOs, mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, joint ventures), mainly with an international component, and in recent years he has developed a strong energy and infrastructure practice, with a particular focus on investment funds in these sectors. He has also advised on other M&A transactions with private equity funds and big national and international industrial firms.
He holds a Degree in Law from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, with a specialisation in Business Law, as well as a Master’s Degree in Law from IE Business School.
According to Pedro Pérez-Llorca, Senior Partner of the firm, “the appointment of Alberte comes at the end of an excellent year, both in terms of deals and attracting talent. Alejandro is a valuable addition to the Corporate/M&A practice and I am sure that it will help consolidate the growth that we have been experiencing.”
Alberte is the eighth partner to be appointed this year, following seven other new partners: Fernando Bedoya, Beatriz García, Javier Gómez, Pedro Marques de Gama, José Suárez, Ildefonso Arenas and Juan Jiménez-Laiglesia. This coincides with the expansion of the firm’s offices in Madrid. In addition to retaining its headquarters at Castellana 50, the firm has recently opened a new office in the Torre Foster in the Cuatro Torres Business Area.
