Restructuring & Insolvency

Pérez-Llorca’s Restructuring and Insolvency team has multidisciplinary experience in different practice areas such as finance, corporate law, employment law and litigation. This enables us to have a complete understanding of our clients’ difficulties, and therefore give complete advice.

Pérez-Llorca’s Restructuring and Insolvency team has multidisciplinary experience in different practice areas such as finance, corporate law, employment law and litigation. This enables us to have a complete understanding of our clients’ difficulties, and therefore give complete advice.

We advise national and international companies operating in the main sectors of the economy, both on the creditor side in defence of their interests, and on the debtor side, with the primary objective of overcoming economic difficulties. Our clients include debtors, national and international financial institutions, investment funds, private equity funds and commercial creditors.

Our insolvency and pre-insolvency proceedings advice includes:

  • All kinds of judicial proceedings, including subordinated claims, at all stages of the insolvency proceedings
  • Diagnostics on the insolvency situation and developing a debt refinancing process
  • Restructurings and insolvency agreements
  • Company liquidations, particularly on the business unit sale process
  • Asset sale transactions in the context of a crisis or insolvency, to asset buyers (within or outside of insolvency proceedings) and to sellers, shareholders and directors
