José Luis joined Pérez-Llorca in 2023 after more than 20 years of work experience gained in both well-known law firms and multinationals.

Experience
José Luis has worked as a Partner in Restructuring, Insolvency and Special Situations in a renowned international law firm, defending the interests of insolvent companies and creditors and participating in restructuring operations and the sale and purchase of production units. In addition, he was the director of the legal department of a large multinational company managing international restructuring operations and leading the company’s negotiations in Spain. He was also a member of the Executive, Management and company Committees.
Luna has also practised as a lawyer specialising in corporate and financial law in renowned Spanish and international law firms.
José Luis has also been a staff member at the European Parliament and was recognised with the Iberian Lawyer Award 2018 for the best Corporate Legal Team.
Academic and publishing collaborations
José Luis teaches at the Instituto de Empresa, at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) and at the Escuela de Organización Industrial. He has also been a speaker at the Lefebvre Insolvency Law Conference, at the Seville Chamber of Commerce Insolvency Law Conference and at the CEDI Insolvency Law Conference.
