Pérez-Llorca, Best Lawyers® ‘Law Firm of the Year’ in Spain for Corporate/M&A Law

Best Lawyers® has named Pérez-Llorca their 2022 ‘Law Firm of the Year’ in Spain for the practice of Corporate/M&A Law.

This accolade is based on peer to peer votes from partners and lawyers at other firms, their ‘Lawyer of the Year’ awards, and the firm’s reputation on the Spanish market.

In total, Pérez-Llorca boasts 94 professionals recognised by Best Lawyers® in 42 practice areas, a 16% increase in the number of lawyers acknowledged by the directory compared to 2021. ‘Corporate M&A Law’ is the area in which the most lawyers and partners at Pérez-Llorca are listed (36), followed by ‘Litigation’(18),‘Private Equity Law’ (14), ‘Banking & Finance Law’ (12), ‘Administrative Law’ (9), ‘Arbitration and Mediation’ (9), ‘Insolvency and Reorganization Law’ (9) and ‘Real Estate Law’ (9).

Additionally, seven of our lawyers have been recognised as a ‘Lawyer of the Year’: Adriana de Buerba in the category of ‘Criminal Defense’ in Madrid; Marcel Enrich in ‘Project Finance and Development Practice’ in Barcelona; Clara Jiménez in ‘Tax Law’ in Madrid; Julio Lujambio in ‘Debt & Equity’ in Madrid; Félix J. Montero in ‘Arbitration and Mediation’ in Madrid; Fernando Quicios in ‘Investment Funds’ in Madrid and Andy Ramos in ‘Entertainment Law’ in Madrid.

For the first time, the directory also highlights 31 lawyers from Pérez-Llorca in the ‘Ones to Watch’ category. With this distinction, Best Lawyers recognises the professional excellence of lawyers who are at an early stage of their careers.

Solid recognition over a number of years

In prior editions, the firm has been recognised by this directory in the ‘Law Firm of the Year’ category for Spain in different practices such as ‘Administrative Law’ in 2021 and ‘Real Estate’ in 2020, 2019 and 2018.
