Labour partners Daniel Cifuentes and Fernando Ruiz, along with Blanca Liñán, associate in this practice area, will discuss the most significant trends and issues that will affect the labour market in the coming months, as well as summarising the latest major judgments from the Court of Justice of the European Union, the Spanish Supreme Court and the Spanish High Court.
At this seminar, the speakers will also discuss companies’ use of custom working days (known as “jornadas a la carta”), the newly-recognised right for employees to request that their working hours be adapted in order to balance their work and family life. Possible ways in which HR departments can best manage this right will also be explored.
