Profile

Gloria Pérez joined Pérez-Llorca in 2021 as Counsel for the Employment practice area. Prior to this, Gloria was the head of the Employment Law department of the Madrid office of a Spanish firm.

She is responsible for supporting the international development of the practice area, providing employment law advice on transactions, collective negotiations and representation in proceedings.

Studies:

• Advanced course in Business Law, Centro de Estudios Garrigues and Harvard University
• 2002 Degree in Law and Business Studies, Universidad Pontificia Comillas

She speaks Spanish and English.

Experience

Gloria has more than 13 years’ experience in all areas of employment relationships, especially in collective bargaining (temporary workforce restructuring plans (“ERTEs”), collective dismissals, substantial modifications of working conditions, etc.) and representing both individuals and collectives in legal proceedings before the labour courts and in all instances. Likewise, she has been involved in significant corporate restructuring procedures, work inspections and employment-related due diligence, as well as in drafting equality plans, incentives policies and remuneration plans for senior management, among other matters.

Academic and publishing collaborations

Gloria has been a lecturer for the Employment Law course for the Master’s Degree in International Business Law at the Centro de Estudios Garrigues since 2014.
