Teresa Méndez joined Pérez-Llorca in 2023. She has developed her career in prestigious Spanish and international law firms.

She speaks Spanish and English. She is a sworn translator-interpreter of English accredited by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation.

Experience

Specialised in corporate law, she has extensive experience in M&A transactions, both in listed and unlisted companies, as well as in Equity Capital Markets (ECM) transactions and corporate governance matters.

She has been involved in some of the most significant takeover bids of the past few years in Spain, as well as in IPOs, capital increases of listed companies and complex debt restructurings with an equity component. In private M&A, she has worked on transactions in a variety of sectors, representing industrial clients as well as private equity and sovereign wealth funds.

Academic and publishing collaborations

Occasional lecturer at various universities (Universidad San Pablo CEU, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, IE, ISDE).

She has also authored or co-authored various specialised publications, mainly in the field of capital markets and takeover bids.
